
Economic Strategy Associate
Loyd supports Strellum’s work across economic strategy and federal client initiatives.
His background includes experience in investment banking, defense financial strategy, and major acquisition programs through roles at Goldman Sachs and the U.S. Air Force. Prior to joining Strellum, Loyd advised industrial sector clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic financing alternatives at Goldman Sachs. As a Finance Officer in the Air Force, including service at the Pentagon, he supported financial strategy for Major Defense Acquisition Programs and worked at the Rapid Capabilities Office supporting the B-21 Raider program, helping advance one of the Department of War’s most significant next-generation modernization initiatives.
He received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy.
